Resiliency is defined as the capacity to prepare for, recover from and adapt in the face of stress, adversity and life challenges. It is not a trait, but a skill that can be readily enhanced with patience and training. Building better resilience takes time, effort, commitment, and focus. Resilient people know that they need to take an active role to preserve or improve their health.

Resiliency Education

The approach to my resiliency lectures is both informational and experiential. I bring vivacious energy and practical advice to companies and organizations interested in educating their employees or members on resiliency techniques that are useful in and out of the field.

My experience as a military service member and wellness practitioner has granted me a unique perspective to offer to a variety of different audiences, from police officers to private small businesses.

I empower my audience to find internal balance through the mind-body connection, giving them the tools to tackle their life challenges with more readiness and from a place of centered calm, whether they are an active duty police officer, new mom, business owner, student, and anyone in between.

I am a Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commission (MPCTC) Instructor # 197789. This certification allows me to provide continuing education (CE’s) credits to police officers in the state of Maryland for the Performance Enhancement/ Resiliency course I teach.

I adapt the training to the timing available and the audience’s needs. I would love the opportunity to support your organization. Let’s connect to discuss how I can support you.

I really found Judy’s lecture helpful and timely because I’m learning how to manage the stress of home health nursing which can be all consuming. I thought Judy was an enthusiastic and inspiring presenter and provided some helpful reinforcement on specific ways to recognize and compensate for stress. I loved it! It was a good reminder that we have more control over our stress levels and responses than we think we do.

I just wanted to drop you a short note to say how much I enjoyed your presentation on Tuesday. It was interesting, informative and highly applicable to all of us! I hope to have the opportunity to see you “in action” again sometime. Until then, thanks for an inspiring message and all the best to you in the future. Keep on keepin’ on!

I was honored to be presented with the Citizen’s Award from Colonel Hargis - Chief, Frederick Police Department at the 61st Police Academy Graduation. I am grateful for the opportunity to provide resiliency training to our future police officers.
